Saturday June 30th - Trip to Indianapolis

Disclosure... it is one week later posting this!!!  We are doing great, just crazy busy!  Will post several today (hopefully!) July 7th :)

We took off in the AM to the Children's Museum in INdinapolis.  We read beforehand that not in an area with much for food so I looked up on my cell while driving some food options.  We stopped a few miles out at a place called Goose the Market - a small European deli with only 5 differnet sandwiches -very french and fun!  We split 2 sandwiches - both on true french bagettes.  One was chicken liver pate and the other was a mix of italian procutto etc - YUMMY!  We took a loaf of bread with us too for tomorrow etc.  Maybe freeze???

So we LOVED the museum!  It is the biggest kid's museum in the world.  They have a LEGO and Matchbox car exhibit going on right now!  Their perminent ones were neat too.  THey have Chiro Egypt replicated (much cleaner though), with a pharmacy and marketplace.  We also did some digging for dinosaur bones, talked with both an archeologist and a paleontologist.  Finn did some underwater exploration and Elan did the trains!  He loved the dinosaurs too.

Right in the dinosaur exhibit we ran into Pat from the Proton Center!  She is one of the lovely nurses we see daily!  Here is a picture:

Now here are a billion photos from the museum we took...

SO we headed to Trader Joes before leaving town so we have plenty of frozen organic berries for smoothies etc (brought our cooler - i am getting organized!).  Saved at least $50 as rather expensive in Bloomington.  Elan needs goat milk and yogurt which he would live on if he had a choice... at least he eats through his mouth with it.  We also picked up Goat Milk and Goat Yougurt for ELan since he gets a rash from cow's milk but goat he is fine with!

Fun day!  We are bummed it was 100 degrees and we had to be inside but glad we headed to Indinapolis and had a BLAST!
