RESULTS!!!!

So Jessica called and Erik was at work so able to conference all 3 of us in - she said I have good news and bad news - what do you want first?  We both said bad... the bad news was there was some growth - not a lot but some which she could notice.  A bit in the ear canal but she didn't really go into specifics as we didn't ask.  She did mention that the area on the left side had no change so they are just going to monitor it.  She then said the good news - we got into Indiana!!!!!!!  Can you believe it????????  SOOOOOO thrilled beyond thrilled.   Monday it was a 10 to 20% chance but we got it!

Of course I start sobbing and thanking her profusely.  While we were on the phone together Indiana was calling into Erik.  We had to fill out papers for them to contact our insurance and once that is done we go up next week in person and have our consultation.  Elan will get a CT scan and be fitted for a mold for the treatment.  We should start treatment in weeks as they agree they want aggressive and fast.  Still in total disbelief!  Nothing like summer in Indiana, right?

So Finn has been great today.  Even had Rachel and the girls come and swim at the pool, really nice for all.

Elan is teething today and won't nap.  Such a normal thing!  So great as he had been waking up past few nights and of course I am scared to death that it is the tumor - no just good old teething.
