So we drove into Dubuque through DeWitt to see Heidi and Sarah and to finally meet Barry! Great time! Sarah and Barry have been married now 3 years (the next day was their anniversary :)) - how time flies! They recently bought an old funeral home which was completely remodeled and then went into foreclosure before reopening - a real hoot. Sarah told us about the idea last year when we visited so they actually did it. It is a beautiful home full of to die for MCM furniture - soooo jealous!
Finn learned how to play frisbee with the boys and was amazing at it! We also had Happy Joes Taco Pizza - my favorite!!! So miss Happy Joes Taco pizza - I guess an Iowa thing.

Sarah played "thomas the train" theme song so Elan fell in love with them too. Barry had to fly out at 4 AM for a job so really so nice to let us drop by with only a few hrs notice.
The Happy Joe's taco pizza is also a Minnesota thing! It is Doug's favorite too.
